For a time it was thought that the shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles in December 1996 were the last of the 1996 Beautiful Freak tour. That was until this cd called Live Edge Sessions Volume 1 popped up in 1997. This compilation radio sampler featuring Novocaine For The Soul proved that the band had in fact played that song (and probably others as well) at Dallas venue Deep Ellum on December 20, 1996. But as this cd has the word 'sessions' in the title it's unlikely that this was a full gig.
