It's been a busy day for the EELS. In the afternoon a radiosession and afterwards a photosession in the canals of Utrecht with photographer Ralf Collaris. A lot of people were talking during the show, in which a new and wicked country version of My Beloved Monster was played (with E on banjo). "You know... I didn't use to be the pleasant fellow you see here tonight..." introduced A Most Unpleasant Man. Butch' drum solo during Rags To Rags was longer than normal. The highlights of the evening were the encores. Most of the annoying talking people had left (they were leaving already when the show wasn't even finished....) and the band seemed to have a really good time. The crowd went nuts for Exodus Pt.III and E started making jokes about the upcoming Butch solo album. After the show Butch remarked that it would be called Butch On Birds so that it's follow up could be called Butch Does Birds.
