This last show of the year was quite a treat for those who were lucky enough to be there. E and Butch both played solo sets before Jon Brion's set. The setlist stated here is E solo. Butch sopposedly performed a solo drum extravaganza right after E's set. The set stands out because E premieres two rare songs during the evening. The studio versions of these two would not surface until 2005 (Suicide Life of Blinking Lights And Other Revelations) and 2010 (A Line In The Dirt on End Times). E and Butch both guested on stage with Jon Brion later on in the evening, to perform three EELS songs with him: Climbing To The Moon, Not Ready Yet and Everything's Gonna Be Cool This Christmas.
