Bus Driving Band Rocking 2001

OSAKA, JAP - SUMMERSONIC FESTIVAL - august 17, 2001

Butch's diary:

Aug. 15/16, 2001: We leave LA for Tokyo. Upon arrival we are greeted by our interpreter, Yuko. She is kind and willing to help, with a wonderful light in her eyes, which we quickly extinguish.

Aug. 17, 2001: We arrive in Osaka and go to the venue for soundcheck. Soundcheck is rough and the waiting around bores me. To pass the time I find entertainment in helping Koool G make some chewing gum wrapper bracelets and necklaces for the crew. We finish soundcheck and head back to the hotel for a night off. Upon arrival E, myself, and Koool G head over to the Osaka convention center to see if we can sneak into the "Dir en Grey" (sort of a Japanese Marilyn Manson) concert. The show is sold out so we sadly head back to our hotel and watch through our windows, like Alcatraz inmates staring at the city lights.
