Butch's diary:

Aug. 23, 2001: Brussels, Belgium. After a good nights rest we board our tour bus for the beginning of the Euro-festival circuit. Our first stop is "Pukkelpop" in Hasselt, Belgium. Butch does not like humidity. (But he still likes referring to himself in the third person -ed.)

We get in early and sit around all day for a late show at 11:45pm. As we enter the stage and are about to begin, all the power goes out. People are running everywhere, trying to figure out what has happened. The crowd is confused and so are we (nothing new). The power comes back up and we begin our set. But there is a problem. Our sound man, Bongo Pete, had his entire sound board settings erased right in front of him when the power went out. We slam through the rock but there is a strange feeling in the room, (tent, actually). We finish our set and find out later that probably only 20% of the audience was able to hear what they were supposed to hear from the stage. We consider killing ourselves but then remember that tomorrow is, indeed, another day.
