LEEDS, UK - LEEDS FESTIVAL - august 25, 2001

Aug. 25, 2001: Leeds, England. The crew disperses in all directions while we have a high level discussion about the last few shows. The "mad scientist" has gone through six different Vox amplifiers and we've had to borrow spares from other bands to make it through our sets (thank you, PJ Harvey). Our concern is that we are not achieving our full rock potential. Ace guitar tech Wolfy says that we have the seventh amp ready to go today. At 4:05pm we hit the stage and things go relatively well. Still not all the way there yet. We're saving that for Holland tomorrow. Before we leave we are treated to a second day of Iggy Pop. He is still the man. The "mad scientist" sits in with his old cronies PJ Harvey for a second time. This time Polly wisely eliminates the song John screwed up yesterday from the set list. Koool-G and E hot wire a golf cart and are not heard from the rest of the day.
