Butch's diary:
Aug. 30, 2001: Today we travel to Helsinki, Finland for our first visit. We arrive and are greeted by warm and friendly people everywhere. Things seem less hectic and a little more laid back than in London and we enjoy the change of pace. Koool-G has reindeer for dinner.
Aug. 31, 2001: We get to the "Can You Festival" site early today because we have rented a lot of gear to facilitate our quick departure for Italy tomorrow. The equipment is assembled and everyone at the festival is eager to help us. Show time is at 9:00pm. I'm a little skeptical as to how we will go over since 70% of our show is material that the audience hasn't heard yet and this is the first time we've been here. Once we begin my fears are washed away as the crowd follows us on our journey of ROCK from beginning to end. I am really quite stunned with the overwhelming response we get and I wish we could have stayed and played all night. Turns out the rental equipment sounds and works better than our own. This could be your lucky day in Helsinki.
