Butch's diary:

Sept. 10, 2001: Tonight we are live on the radio with Steve Lamac from BBC studios at Maida Vale. We arrive and start to sound check. The Mad Scientist is already conjuring "love" from his Vox amplifier and I notice that the crew has THREE more hooked up and ready to go if this one blows. I overhear E begging John to "buy Fender." We do four songs with no major catastrophes, except for E mentioning something about wheelchairs and Scotland, and then it's back to the hotel for a night of rest.
