What a way to start a tour. E and The Chet played a beautiful gig in which The Chet read passages from the book Things The Grandchildren Should Know inbetween the songs. The Chet also sung the lead vocals on the Led Zeppelin classic Good Times Bad Times. The biggest surprise came near the end of an already wonderful evening. While everybody was expecting former EELS drummer Butch to come out, it was original Eel Tommy Walter who appeared on stage to play his French horn on Beautiful Freak. More than 10 years after his fall out with E it seems they can at least share the stage again for love of music. Wonderful!
