Almost twelve years after the original broadcast, this performance suddenly popped up on SharingTheGroove.com, uploaded by a guy called Mark P. He claimed to have recorded it straight from the radio back in the days and it shows. The sound quality is awesome. Another EELS fan found it there and was kind enough to share the info with both this site and our friends over at RockingEels.com.

This show is the missing link between the Broken Toy Shop era and Beautiful Freak, with an early performance of the title track of the first EELS album and a demo recording of Mental. Along with the other never before (and after) heard demo recordings, covers and live songs, along with a nice chat with E inbetween the tracks this makes highly interesting listening for any EELS fan.

We like to hear about any other 1993/1994 shows if possible. Any help is much appreciated.
